My Grandfather was a scientist, a hoarder & a pipe smoker. He loved all things educational and endeavoured to teach himself photography, developing his skill throughout his life. He made a dark room under the stairs and developed his own negatives as a hobby.
He died at 62 and left hundreds of Kodachrome Transparancies documenting his many travels with work & holidays he had with his family. All are labelled exactly, with place and year.
I have been scanning & scanning to try and digitize different series of these old images. They are a first hand account of time, place and situation.
